Have you ever thought of matching dark chocolate with cranberry nut and using that to boost your diet ? Today we will take you on a short trip to dark chocolate and cranberry island. We would show you how to make a wonderful delight that could be eaten as desert during breakfast before you leave the comfort of your home or could be eaten at night before you go to bed. It’s very easy and interesting to make with little or no budget.
Here it goes:
Serves: 12 chocolate cranberry
- ½ cup coconut oil
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tbsp. Honey
- ¼ tspn. Vanilla
- 1 tspn. Cinnamon
- ½ cup pumpkin seeds
- ½ cup cranberry
- ½ tspn. Sea salt
Step 1: Add the coconut oil, unsweetened cocoa powder and honey in a bowl. Toss in the vanilla and cinnamon before you stir properly to get an even mixture, smooth and glossy.
Step 2: Combine the cranberry and pumpkin seeds into the already smooth mixture. Continue stirring till it’s totally even.
Step 3: Pour the mixture on a white parchment under a baking sheet or a baking pan. You could sprinkle some more fruits and nuts on the mixture if you want to, it’s going to garnish your chocolate and make it more colourful and attractive.
Step 4: Now add a sprinkle of sea salt all over the mixture. It would make it sweet and salty altogether (you may decide not to do this, it doesn’t really matter).
Step 5: Place it in the refrigerator for about an hour. Once it’s hard you could cut it into any size you want.
And that is it. Smooth, sweet and delicious. Do not forget to always keep in a refrigerator to retain it’s freshness.
