How To Bake Brie | A Quick & Easy Appetizer Recipe
If you’re short on time but having guests over for dinner, you need a quick appetizer in your life. While there are many frozen options to choose from, you’re better off serving something simple, yet delicious. That’s where baked brie comes in. In less than 15 minutes, you can have a delectable appetizer ready for you and your guests. Check out the extremely easy recipe below, from Instructables’ user noahw, to learn how to bake brie. Ingredients:
- Fresh crusty bread (italian loaf or french baguette)
- Honey (optional)
- Almonds (optional)
- Jam (optional)
Step 1: Bake Brie
Start by preheating your oven to 350F. Remove the brie from its wrap, place it on a cookie sheet and let it bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes on the top rack. Also, put a few slices of bread in there.
Step 2: Take Brie Out
After about 10 minutes, the brie should be slightly oozing from the bottom. If it looks like the brie in the picture below, take it out of the oven. If not, keep it in for a little bit more until it starts browning slightly.
Step 3: Add Toppings
Use a spatula to carefully move the brie from the cookie sheet to a plate. Take out the slices of bread as well and place them around the plate. Top the brie with honey, almonds, jam or any other toppings that you might like.
Step 4: Serve
Serve it while hot!
