If you love chocolate, you would agree with me that nothing beats double when it comes chocolate cookies. We all love chocolate cookies and the fact that it gives us diverse health benefits including being an antioxidant. Antioxidants help rid the body of free radicals, nasty little molecules running amok in your body which cause aging and disease.
Here it is:
Serves:17 small cookies
- 11/2 cups pecans
- 12 dates
- ¼ tspn. Sea salt
- 1 egg
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tspn. Vanilla extract
- ½ cup chopped dark chocolate
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment and place a skillet on dry medium heat. Toss the pecans into the skillet and fry until golden.
Step 2: Combine all ingredients into a food processor and mix until it’s well blended.
Step 3: Roll out a golf ball size cookies from the mixture and press them unto the parchment sheet. Bake in the oven for 12 minutes.
And there we have it, a pretty easy and interesting to make. No more having to leave the comfort of your home to get a cookie.
