This recipe is perfect for those who want a gluten free meal to cut in on the carb intake. In this recipe, we need just 3-4 ingredients which are easy to find in any store and easy to prepare within 10-15 minutes.
After preparations, you may decide to make a small and easy sauce in which the pasta can be eaten with.
- 1½ cups blanched almond flour
- 1½ cups tapioca flour
- 1½ tbsp. Sea salt
- 2 whole eggs
- 4 egg yolks.
Step 1: Add 1½ cups blanched almond flour to the mixer and whisk it. Add the 1½ cup of tapioca flour and 1½ cup of sea salt to the mixed almond flour in the mixer. Now re-whisk it.
Step 2: Add the broken 2 whole eggs and the 4 egg yolks to the mixer and whisk on low power. Ensure the dough is thick enough, if not add more tapioca flour and mix again.
Step 3: Spread tapioca flour on a surface and divide the dough into 4 halves on it. Roll each dough into a ball and flatten using a rolling pin until it’s a quarter inch thick and flat. Cut into stripes using a slicer.
Step 4: Take the stripes and put into boiling water mixed with olive oil (this is to ensure that the stripes doesn’t stick together). Cook for 3-5 minutes and drain out the water from the pasta stripes.
You could decide to eat the pasta with an already made meat sauce or any other sauce of your choice.
