This recipe takes literally two minutes to make. It’s Vegan and Paleo and contains parsley blended right in which is so good for you. Hummus is very nutritious, filling and tasty and inexpensive to make. Hummus is everyone’s go-to recipe for use as a dip for vegetables and in pita but there are other ways to enjoy hummus too. - 1 can chickpeas
- 2 tbsp oil
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1-2 limes
- Fresh parsley
- Salt (to taste)
Step 1: prepare mixture
In a food processor add a can of chickpeas, oil, tahini and juice from limes. Add about 4 tbsp of water and a large handful of parsley. Blend until smooth and add salt to taste.
Step 2: adjust to taste
If you require more citrus or water adjust this to your taste and consistency liking. That’s it, you are done!
Step 3: oil and garnish
Serve up in a bowl, top with a little oil and sprinkle paprika and few sesame seeds, then decorate with another sprig of parsley.
Enjoy this hummus immediately as a dip or use as a spread, dressing on salads or potatoes or wherever you like. Hummus is easily substituted wherever one might use it as a topping or spread; as in sandwiches or on some cooked chicken. Feel free to experiment with this and find out what other uses you may find.
